Discontinued several years ago, Swarovski is now doing a special run of colors, some never seen before in the 2mm Round bead.
It should be known that the 2mm round is not a true 2mm round, and that the current run of beads can be slightly larger than the old. To give you an idea, the old beads ran between 1.56 and 1.63mm hole to hole, and between 1.76 and 1.80mm across the fattest part, whereas some of the new run colors go between 1.73 and 1.83mm hole to hole and 1.81 and 2.02mm across the biggest part. I mention this in case you are using these in a very tight weave, or pattern that relies heavily on the smaller size.
Currently, the Metallic Sunshine runs in the smaller of the "new" sizes, and Red Magma runs in the larger of the "new" sizes. The Fuchsia are of the "old" line.
2mm Swarovski #5000 Round Beads in the colors Fuchsia or Red Magma.
Fuchsia, a warm, medium pink.
This run of Red Magma, to me is a warm reddish brown, rather than a more autumn orange, so bear that in mind.
These are the Swarovski Advanced Crystals that are lead-free.
Fantastic for beadweaving, and also for dance costume!
